Connect
Connect Meta
Once connected, we send purchases and refunds to Meta's Conversions API server-side — deduplicated against your browser pixel, enriched with the first-party signals your pixel can't see. Takes about two minutes.
What you need
Your pixel ID, and a Facebook login with access to the Business account that owns the pixel. Find the ID in Meta Events Manager → Data sources → your pixel — it's the long number shown under the pixel's name.
Steps
- 1Open Integrations and click Connect on Meta CAPI
In your Hyper Tracking dashboard, go to Integrations. On the Meta CAPI card, click Connect.
- 2Enter your pixel ID
Type it into the
Meta pixel / ad account IDfield and click Continue. - 3Authorize on Facebook
You'll be sent to Facebook to approve the connection. Sign in with the account that has access to the pixel and accept.
- 4Finish setup
Back on the card, the badge reads Setup incomplete. There's one optional field —
Test event code— then click Finish setup. The badge flips to Connected and conversions start flowing.
No conversions are sent while the badge reads "Setup incomplete" — the Finish setup click is what turns delivery on.
Verifying with a test event code
To watch events arrive live while you set up, grab a code from Events Manager → your pixel → Test events tab and paste it into the Test event code field. Events then show up in that tab within seconds. It's optional — leave it empty to go straight to normal delivery.
What gets sent
Purchases and refunds, with hashed customer signals (never raw emails or IPs — see Data & privacy). Every event carries a shared event ID, so if your browser pixel reports the same sale, Meta deduplicates the two — you never double-count.
